This week, Sadie and I talk about making art, dancing, and moving forward by being still.

Sadie is a dancer, performance artist, and teacher born and raised in the DC/Metropolitan Area. In 2011, Sadie stumbled into a life-changing love affair with Pointless Theatre Company. As a company member, she's worn a variety of hats ranging from dancer to puppeteer to choreographer to assistant director. Sadie is also delighted and honored to dance as a company member with Heart Stück Bernie. She's also had the privilege of dancing with several fantastic local companies and choreographers, including Contradiction Dance, Kiera Hart-Mendoza, UpRooted Dance, Claire Alrich, and Stephanie Miracle. Her choreography, "Precious Moment," debuted as part of the inaugural Kitchen Sink Festival at Dance Place, and she recently directed, choreographed, and performed in the music video "Taliesin," for indie band, Humble Fire.

As a life long lover, performer, and maker of dance, Sadie has always found her bliss in the heat, strength, and mobility that comes from focused physicality. She brings this purposeful playfulness into her "day job" as a yoga teacher at several studios in Washington, DC.
